FOCUS North America is pleased to welcome Ana Treptow as our new Associate Director of Operations.

Ana joins the national team with more than 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience, bringing a deep commitment to serving children, families, and communities with compassion, excellence, and dignity. Throughout her career, she has led programs that meet both immediate needs and create long-term pathways for healing and stability—an approach that closely reflects the mission of FOCUS.

Most recently, Ana oversaw operations at the Milwaukee Child Advocacy Center at Children’s Wisconsin, leading a multidisciplinary team that provided care and support for children experiencing abuse and violence. Prior to that, she directed programming for women and families experiencing homelessness, overseeing shelter and housing services, a year-round meal program, after-school programming, employment support, and volunteer engagement.

Her background also includes graduate studies in child development, family well-being, developmental trauma, and nonprofit leadership, along with an entrepreneurial foundation in business, sales, and organizational development. Together, these experiences have shaped Ana’s servant leadership style and her practical, needs-based approach to building strong programs that serve the whole person.

Beyond her professional experience, Ana has spent much of her life serving the Orthodox Church. A lifelong participant in Orthodox camping ministry, she has been involved with Antiochian Village since childhood and currently serves as Assistant Director of Camp St. George in Iowa. She is also an active volunteer with International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) and participates in a variety of pan-Orthodox ministries throughout the Milwaukee area. Ana is a member of St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.

Reflecting on her work, Ana believes that lasting change begins by recognizing the dignity and potential of every person.

“Children will one day become adults, and every adult was once a child,” she says. “By serving the whole person through trauma-informed care and healthy community support, we help create opportunities for healing, growth, and hope.”

As Associate Director of Operations, Ana will work alongside our national team to strengthen operational systems, support our growing network of FOCUS Centers, and help equip local ministries to serve their communities with excellence.

Please join us in welcoming Ana to the FOCUS family. We are grateful for the experience, wisdom, and heart for service she brings to this role, and we look forward to the ways God will continue to work through her ministry.

Welcome, Ana!
