FOCUS Detroit recently welcomed more than 120 guests to St. Clair Shores for its Fourth Annual Gala: An Evening of Gratitude—a night of fellowship, generosity, and celebration of the work God is doing throughout Metro Detroit.

Guests learned more about the ministry’s ongoing work, heard about two of its newest ministries, and explored the impact FOCUS Detroit is making in the local community. The evening offered an opportunity to reflect on the lives being touched through the ministry and the continued opportunities to serve neighbors in need.

This year’s gala also introduced a new paddle pledge, inviting guests to support specific ministry needs. The enthusiastic response was a highlight of the evening and a testament to the community’s commitment to the work of FOCUS Detroit.

At the heart of the evening was a powerful reminder: every person is made in the image and likeness of God. When we serve our neighbors, we recognize Christ in them and honor their God-given dignity. Watch the video from the evening to reflect on this calling and learn more about the ministry of FOCUS Detroit.

FOCUS Detroit extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make the evening possible, including its sponsors, donors, volunteers, advisory committee, and all who attended. Their generosity and continued support help the ministry serve neighbors with compassion and dignity, making Christ’s love visible throughout Metro Detroit.

The work continues beyond the gala. With the ongoing support of the community, FOCUS Detroit can meet immediate needs, sustain its ministries, and reach more neighbors throughout the region.

Those who would like to support this work can make a gift to FOCUS Detroit.

Thank you to everyone who made this evening possible and continues to be part of the FOCUS Detroit community. We are grateful for all that God has done through this ministry and look forward to what lies ahead.
