It is with sentiments of great joy and spiritual gladness that we communicate the recent election by the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, at the proposal of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, of the V. Rev. Archimandrite Theophan Koja as Bishop of Philomelion, serving the pastoral needs of the Albanian Orthodox Diocese under the jurisdiction of the Mother Church of Constantinople.
