Two St. Tikhon’s Seminary Graduates were ordained on the Feast of Ascension!
Dn. Joseph Hazar was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on June 9, 2016, by His Grace, The Right Reverend Anthony, Bishop of Toledo and the Diocese of the Midwest, of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.

Innocent Neal (Class of 2005), currently serving as St. Tikhon’s Bookstore Manager, was ordained to the Diaconate on Sunday, June 5, 2016, and to the Holy Priesthood on the Ascension Feast, June 9th. His Eminence, the Most Reverend Mark, Archbishop of Philadelphia and the OCA Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania was the celebrant at both ordinations, with the ordination to the priesthood occurring at St. Tikhon’s Monastery Church.
Fr. Innocent was also surrounded by classmates: Archimandrite Sergius, St. Tikhon Monastery Igumen (2005), Fr. Timothy Hojnicki (2005), and Fr. Stephen Vernak (2007), and Fr. Peter Henry (2006). Dn. Gregory Hatrack (1994) also served at the Festal ordination, along with deacons who are presently studying at St. Tikhon’s.
