FOCUS North America is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Case Manager for its FOCUS Cleveland ministry location.

FOCUS Cleveland (St. Herman House) is a homeless shelter and hot meal program located in the heart of Ohio City. We provide shelter to up to 40 men per night and serve three meals per day to the community.  FOCUS Cleveland also meets the needs of our neighbors by providing clothing and connecting them with services in the local community. The Case Manager is responsible for overseeing the intake and case management of men seeking shelter at FOCUS Cleveland. This position supports residents in searching for housing, navigating the health system, and applying for jobs. This position also works closely with partner agencies and participates in local meetings. This position also counsels residents and manages billing for services rendered.

The position reports to the Center Director of FOCUS Cleveland.

As an affiliated ministry of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America, qualified candidates should have knowledge of and a willingness to work within the framework of the Orthodox Church. Additional qualifications include:

  • Counseling experience;
  • Experience managing case files and working with vulnerable populations;
  • Familiarity with HMIS (Homeless Management Information System);
  • Ability to work well with partner agencies;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; and
  • A passion for service.

A Licensed Independent Social Worker is preferred.
