At their recent Spring Session, the members of the Metropolitan Council of the Orthodox Church in America, with the blessing of the Holy Synod of Bishops, unanimously approved Baltimore, MD as the site of the 20th All-American Council [AAC].  The Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel, located in the city’s most popular historic and scenic site overlooking Oriole Park at Camden Yards, will serve as the venue for the AAC, which will take place July 23-30, 2021.

As in past years, the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians of America [FOCA] will hold its national convention on the weekend before the AAC, while the highly popular youth program also will be offered throughout the week.

The Metropolitan Council also approved the formation of the Pre-Conciliar Commission, which will be chaired by His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon, in whose Archdiocese of Washington, DC the AAC will be held.  Appointed Pre-Conciliar Commission members will be announced in the near future.

As defined in the Statute of the Orthodox Church in America, “the All-American Council is the highest legislative and administrative authority within the Church.  The Council brings together the various elements of the Church to bear witness to her identity, unity, and mission.”

Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
