Saint Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary recently announced that Cameron Beahan has been hired as the new Managing Director of Marketing and Operations for Saint Vladimir’s Seminary Press [SVS Press].

Mr. Beahan will supervise SVS Press and bookstore operations and lead the strategic vision for both acquisition of Press content and marketing and sales of product.

“SVS Press books have been a part of my spiritual growth and a major source of encouragement and guidance to me and many in our Church and family,” said Mr. Beahan.  “I am deeply humbled, honored, and excited to be taking on this important role as we seek to give SVS Press an even greater reach promoting our One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church to the ends of the world.”

Mr. Beahan joins the staff with demonstrated marketing, operations, and publishing experience.  He will assume his new role with commensurate educational qualifications.  He and his wife, Carol, have relocated from Australia and now make Yonkers their new home.

Founded in 1968, SVS Press is the largest and most active publisher of Orthodox Christian books in the English language, with more than 400 titles in print.  SVS Press has achieved a reputation for permitting a free expression of ideas within the breadth of the Orthodox faith, tradition, and history, while insisting on works of theological excellence.

In addition to titles about theology, history, ecclesiology, ecumenism, hagiography, iconography, spirituality, scriptural studies, music, pastoral theology, Christian education, philosophy, biography, and Patristics, SVS Press produces children’s books, CDs, video and audio programs, and greeting cards.  The publication and distribution of quality Orthodox Christian material, both on the scholarly and popular levels, is the primary mission of SVS Press.
