On Sunday, June 25, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk led the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City.  His Grace was co-served by the Dean of the Central States, Archpriest Roman Star; Priest Daneil Shirak, cleric of St. Innocent Church in Redford, MI, Priest James Anthony, rector of St. John Chrysostom Church in Grand Rapids, MI and clerics of the cathedral.

At the Little Entrance, for their devoted service to God’s Church, Bishop John awarded Fr. Daneil the Gold Pectoral Cross and Fr. James, the Kamilavka. 

After the reading of the Gospel. Bishop John delivered a sermon on the topic of the appointed Gospel reading for the day. 

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, Bishop John greeted Fr. Roman and the clerics of the Central States Deanery and wished them fortitude in their ministry.
