The book of the month of May was “Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy”, written by Rev. Andrew S. Damick. Those gathered last Thursday were privileged to listen to the author himself deliver an enlightening talk about his book, Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy. After the talk, the group broke for coffee and refreshments and had the opportunity to have the author sign the book. After a short break, the meeting continued with a period of questions for the author and a lively discussion.

The Book Club will meet every third Thursday of the month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at St. Sophia Seminary Library. The next meetings will take place on: June 15 (Book: “Mediations on the Divine Liturgy” by N. Gogol), and July 20 (Book: “UOC of USA Prayer Book” & discussion on Dogmatic Theology for the Rest of Us/Guest Speaker: Fr. Anthony Perkins)
