With the blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, we are pleased to announce the assignment of Rev. Protopresbyter Alexandros Kaitidis as Presiding Priest of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Hicksville, New York, effective November 16, 2026.

Born in Edessa, Greece, on October 6, 1981, Fr. Alexandros was ordained to the Holy Diaconate on November 21, 2004, and to the Holy Priesthood on July 17, 2005, by His Eminence Metropolitan Anthimos of Thessaloniki. In recognition of his dedicated service to the Church, he was elevated to the rank of Protopresbyter in 2014.

A graduate of the Higher Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki, Fr. Alexandros also holds a degree in Byzantine Music. For 18 years, from 2005 to 2023, he faithfully served the Holy Church of Prophet Elias in Pylaia, Thessaloniki, where he developed vibrant pastoral, charitable, educational, and youth ministries.

Since June 2023, he has served as Presiding Priest of Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Throughout his priestly ministry, Fr. Alexandros has demonstrated a deep love for the Church, with particular emphasis on nurturing young people, strengthening families, advancing Greek and Sunday School education, preserving our rich Orthodox traditions, and fostering a spirit of faith, unity, and service. His leadership has also included charitable outreach, cultural initiatives, and church renovation and beautification projects.
