With joy and anticipation, we invite you to Youth Day at the Cathedral, a collaborative initiative of The Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America and Canada (ROEA) parishes across the Greater Toronto Area, organized with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel.

Event Details:
Date: June 6, 2026
Location: St. George Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, 247 Rosethorn Ave, Toronto, Ontario
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Target Audience: Youth ages 16 to 30

This event aims to bring together Orthodox youth and their friends from across the Greater Toronto Area, offering a meaningful setting for a full day dedicated to prayer, fellowship, and spiritual dialogue. The initiative seeks to strengthen unity among young people while encouraging their active participation and engagement in the life and mission of the Church community.

The program will include participation in the Divine Liturgy, interactive activities designed to foster connection and collaboration among attendees, and a spiritual discussion with His Grace Bishop Andrei. The event will also feature a communal youth lunch with the clergy, providing a valuable opportunity for fellowship, relationship-building, and open conversation in an informal setting. The day will conclude with an evening celebration, offering a well-balanced experience that brings together faith, personal formation, and community involvement.

In addition, we are pleased to announce the launch of the ANCHOR Instagram account, created with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel. This platform is dedicated to young people between the ages of 16 and 30, regardless of marital status, under the auspices of the Central Canada Deanery of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America and Canada, within the jurisdiction of the Orthodox Church in America. Through this initiative, events will be promoted in support of our ancestral Orthodox Christian faith and in celebration of Romanian, Moldovan, Aromanian, and North American culture.

Cu bucurie, vă invităm la Ziua Tineretului la Catedrală, o inițiativă comună a parohiilor Episcopiei Ortodoxe Române din America și Canada (ROEA) din zona Metropolitană Toronto, organizată cu binecuvântarea Înaltpreasfințitului Părinte Arhiepiscop Nathaniel.

Participanți: Tineri cu vârste între 16 și 30 de ani

Evenimentul își propune să reunească tineri ortodocși, împreună cu prietenii lor, din întreaga zonă Metropolitană Toronto, oferind un cadru potrivit pentru o zi dedicată rugăciunii, comuniunii și dialogului duhovnicesc. Prin aceasta se dorește întărirea unității între tineri și încurajarea implicării lor active în viața și misiunea comunității Bisericii.

Programul va cuprinde participarea la Sfânta Liturghie, activități interactive menite să încurajeze legătura și colaborarea între participanți, precum și un dialog duhovnicesc cu Preasfințitul Părinte Episcop Andrei. De asemenea, evenimentul va include un prânz comun al tinerilor alături de cler, oferind un prilej valoros de comuniune, cunoaștere reciprocă și discuții deschise într-un cadru informal. Ziua se va încheia cu o seară de sărbătoare, oferind un parcurs echilibrat între trăire spirituală, formare personală și implicare comunitară.

Această platformă este dedicată tinerilor cu vârste cuprinse între 16 și 30 de ani, indiferent de statutul lor civil, sub egida Protopopiatului Canadei Centrale al Episcopiei Ortodoxe Române din America și Canada, aflată sub jurisdicția Bisericii Ortodoxe din America. Prin intermediul acestui cont vor fi promovate evenimente dedicate susținerii credinței noastre ortodoxe strămoșești și celebrării culturii românești, moldovenești, aromâne și nord-americane.
