ATHENS — His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America met in Athens on Tuesday with President of the Hellenic Republic Konstantinos Tasoulas, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece.

The meetings came shortly after Archbishop Elpidophoros arrived in Athens from Istanbul, where he took part in the historic visit of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Constantinople, marking the 1,700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea.
