“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love is everlasting!”
Beloved hierarchs, clergy, monastics, faithful, and friends of our Holy Orthodox Church across North America:
I have been blessed by your prayers and thoughtful remembrances in the holy services for my recovery from heart surgery.
You sent greeting cards and texts; you lifted my spirits and our good and loving God heard all and blessed your prayers.
The Chancery staff kept those greeting cards for me until I left the hospital to relocate to Holy Dormition’s Saint Nicholas House. Each night, I read a few greeting cards, and each night, my spirits were lifted by your words and witness of prayers for my healthy recovery.
Please let this note be a personal thanks to each of you.
My thanks to the Chancery staff for its steady service of the work of the Episcopate. My thanks and admiration to His Grace, Bishop Andrei, likewise, for his dedication to the Church.
In humble thanks and arch-hierarchal blessings,
+NATHANIEL, Archbishop
