Summer is a season for road trips, family vacations, and exploring new places. As you make plans to travel this year, we invite you to consider adding something meaningful to your itinerary: a visit to a FOCUS Center.

Many people know FOCUS through a single Center in their local community. Others may live in areas where a FOCUS Center has not yet been established. But one of the beautiful realities of FOCUS is that we are more than a collection of local ministries—we are a national movement of Orthodox Christians united in service to our neighbors.

From serving meals and distributing groceries to supporting mothers, providing clothing, and building relationships with those experiencing hardship, every FOCUS Center expresses the same mission in ways that meet the unique needs of its community. Yet wherever you go, you’ll find the same spirit of hospitality, compassion, and Orthodox Christian service.

Visiting a FOCUS Center while traveling is a wonderful opportunity to see firsthand how God is working through faithful volunteers, donors, clergy, and community partners across the country. You may discover a new outreach model, meet Orthodox Christians serving in another city, or simply spend a few hours making Christ’s love visible in a new place.

Whether you’re planning a cross-country road trip, a summer getaway, or a visit to family and friends, we encourage you to look for a FOCUS Center along the way. Stop in, volunteer, share a meal, and experience the national reach and local impact of the ministry.

No matter which Center you visit, you’ll find opportunities to serve, learn, and connect with fellow Orthodox Christians who are working together to bring Christ’s love to their communities.

This summer, wherever the road takes you, we hope you’ll take a little time to experience FOCUS beyond your hometown. You may arrive as a visitor—but you’ll leave reminded that you are part of something much bigger: a nationwide community making Christ’s love visible every day.
