On May 2-4, 2025, Dormition Monastery will host an event remembering Fr. Roman with a weekend of liturgical services and talks.
Schedule. Following the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy and Memorial service on Saturday at the monastery, the luncheon and presentationswill take place at RIVES CHURCH, located ½ mile East of the monastery at: 2800 W Berry Rd, Rives Junction, returning to the Monastery for Vigil. Friday and Sunday events will be held at the Monastery.
Accommodations: The monastery does not have accommodations available for this event, but we were able to secure adiscounted rate at the TownePlace Suites hotel in Jackson. The hotel is located 8 miles from the monastery, at 2002 Bondsteel Drive, Jackson, MI, 49202.
