It’s not hard for the Philoptochos Society to put the bland words “convention breakfast” to shame; in fact, there’s nothing underwhelming at all about the unmistakable fellowship that enlivened this morning’s Agape Awards Breakfast. Conversation flowed from end to end of the event ballroom, and not only that— so did attendees, getting up to greet friends and closing the remaining geographical distance between parishes that span the entire country.
