JJOHNSTOWN, PA – [Diocesan Chancery] — With profound sadness the Diocesan Chancery announces that +Archon John Halecky, Jr. fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday, December 22. John was a faithful member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Elizabeth, NJ.
John’s contributions to the Order of St. Andrew and the Ecumenical Patriarchate were extraordinary. He served with distinction on the National Council for decades, including in the leadership positions of National Secretary and National Vice Commander.
