retreat

The Orthodox Church in America’s Advisory Group to Clergy Wives is sponsoring a Virtual Retreat on Saturday, July 10 from 2:00-4:00 PM Eastern Time (1:00-3:00 PM Central, 12:00-2:00 PM Mountain, 11:00-1:00 Pacific, and 9:00-11:00 AM Alaska). The topic of the retreat will be “My Yoke is Easy and My Burden is Light: Christian Ministry and Clergy Spouse Burnout.” The Guest Speaker will be Father Sean Levine, Chaplain (MAJ) USA. Father Sean is a Doctor of Ministry Candidate and is also a Marriage and Family Therapist. Along with being a Brigade Chaplain, he has served as Priest of Service on Post, Family Life & Pastoral Care Chaplain, and ministers to his local Orthodox communities.

Clergy wives are asked to register online by Wednesday, July 7. A Zoom meeting link will be emailed to each participant closer to the retreat date.

In other news, the clergy wives directory is undergoing some final editing and formatting. Understanding that things might have changed in the past year, please submit any contact information that you need to update. You can do so through this Contact Info Form. Please add in the “comment” section that it is an update!
