The ROEA Chancery Office has received the news that Judge John J. Regule fell asleep in the Lord this morning, March 24, 2021, in Florida. Judge Regule served for decades as a legal advisor to the  Episcopate, as well as Juridical Referee of the Church Tribunal, and as a member and officer of AROY and the Orthodox Brotherhood USA. He was a strong supporter of His Eminence Archbishop Valerian of thrice-blessed memory and of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel. Funeral services and burial will be held at Holy Transfiguration Monastery, Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, where he will be buried next to his wife, Elizabeth (Veta). We offer condolences to his family and prayers for strength and peace. May God rest his soul, and may his memory be eterna!. This notice will be updated when more information becomes available.
