His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon will visit Saints Peter and Paul Church, Meriden, CT this Sunday, March 28, 2021 to celebrate the Divine Liturgy with the parish rector, Father Joshua Mosher. This Sunday, the second Sunday of Great Lent, is the Sunday on which the Church keeps the memory of Saint Gregory Palamas and his victorious defense of Orthodox Christian theology in the theological debates of the 14th century.
A livestream of the Divine Liturgy will be available. The Liturgy will begin at 9:30 AM EDT on Sunday morning.
It is with joy that His Beatitude is able to once again visit a parish in the Diocese of New England, of which he is Locum Tenens, now that the public health situation has improved in the region as well as nationwide.
