Grateful for the profound, consistent, ongoing financial support of the Seminary by the Lukianov Family Foundation, including full funding of Protopresbyter Valery Lukianov Scholarships and providing additional financial support as needed, the Rector and Dean of the Seminary are pleased to announce that, on Saturday, May 17, 2019, the main hall in the Dean Nicholas N. Alexandrov Seminary Building will be named the “Protopresbyter Valery Lukianov Hall” in perpetuity.
The schedule of services and related events is as follows:
Friday, May 17:
4:00 PM Vespers and Matins.
7:00 PM Dinner in the Monastery trapeza followed by Small Compline
Saturday, May 18 (St. Irene’s Day):
6:00 AM Divine Liturgy.
7:45 AM Breakfast in trapeza
10:20 AM Panihida for Fr. Valery at Archbishop Averky’s grave served by Bishop Luke & clergy
11:00 AM Dedication ceremony in main hall & unveiling of new portrait
12:00 PM Lunch in main hall for Lukianov family, brotherhood, faculty, and seminarians
