The independent audits of the Orthodox Church in America’s financial records for the years ending December 31, 2017 and 2016, conducted by the auditors, D’Arcangelo and Co. LLP, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, Rye Brook, NY, are now available.
“Once again, the OCA has been issued an unqualified or ‘clean’ audit opinion,” said Melanie Ringa, OCA Treasurer in her report to and approved by the members of the Holy Synod of Bishops at their Fall Session on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. “The 2016 result indicated a surplus of $279,609,00, of which $37,925.00 was unrestricted. The 2017 result indicated a net surplus of $371,202.00, of which $244,038.00 was unrestricted.”
