The final presentation in the series of monthly, one-hour online webinars focusing on various topics related to the development and growth of Orthodox campus ministries will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
Hosted by the Orthodox Christian Fellowship [OCF], the webinar is free of charge and open to all. Participants must register online in advance. All current OCF spiritual advisors, chapter coordinators, and faculty advisors, in addition to others interested in ministering to and with college students, are encouraged to participate.
The theme of the final webinar is “Engaging Disconnected Students.” Guest presenter Father Apostolos Hill, OCF Southwest Spiritual Advisor, will explore ways to address disinterest, doubt, and disengagement among this generation of college students with Christ’s love and fidelity to His truth.
Since its inception in November 2017, the four-part webinar series has featured presentations by OCF staff members and volunteers, as well as other experts in the field.
OCF is the official campus ministry of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America. OCF transforms the lives of college students in the US and Canada by guiding them along the path to Jesus Christ through His Church, cultivating campus communities of worship, witness, service, fellowship and education.
The Orthodox Church in America and its Department of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry, together with the Stewards of the Orthodox Church in America [SOCA], provide partial funding for the ongoing work of OCF.
