Orthodox Health Plans, a pan-Orthodox group that offers health insurance to the clergy of the Orthodox Church in America, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, the Serbian Orthodox Church in America, and the Armenian Church recently announced that it has updated its plans to include a new “Open Choice” PPO.

“Voluntary participation in Orthodox Health Plans provided by Aetna is set at $1500.00 per family and $750.00 per single employee,” said Archpriest Eric G. Tosi, OCA Secretary.  “The program also offers an HRA.  Detailed information, including a comprehensive summary of benefits, may be found on the OCA web site.  The plan can also provide a Medicare supplement program through The Hartford.”

The OCA has participated in the plan for many years, Father Eric added.
