“Atonement: An Orthodox Theology of Redemption: How Does God Save Us?” will be the theme of a three-city lecture tour by Father Patrick Henry Reardon, to be sponsored by the Orthodox Church in America’s Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania in late October 2017.
In addition to his ministry at All Saints Antiochian Orthodox Church, Chicago, IL, Father Patrick is widely known as Senior Editor of Touchstone magazine. Educated at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY; Saint Anselm’s College and the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome; and Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, South Canaan, PA, he has authored many books, including Christ in the Psalms, Christ in His Saints, The Trial of Job: Orthodox Christian Reflections on the Book of Job, Chronicles of History and Worship: Orthodox Christian Reflections on the Books of Chronicles, and Creation and the Patriarchal Histories: Orthodox Reflections on the Book of Genesis.
On Monday, October 23, Father Patrick will lecture at Saint Stephen Cathedral, Philadelphia, PA. Christ the Saviour Church will host Father Patrick on Tuesday, October 24, as will Wilkes Barre’s Holy Resurrection Cathedral on Wednesday, October 25. All lectures will begin at 7:00 p.m.
