[STOTS Communications, South Canaan, PA] The St. Tikhon’s Seminary Community gathered together for dinner at Café Rinaldi in Old Forge, on May 11th, to celebrate the strong re-accreditation report from the Association of Theological Schools. St. Tikhon’s was given a seven-year re-accreditation interval, with no notations.
The host of the evening’s celebratory dinner was Archbishop Michael. Students, faculty, administrative team members, alumni, and family members spent the evening together. The informal program for the evening included comments from Archpriest Steven Voytovich, Accreditation Leadership Team Chair, Dr. Paul Witek, Accreditation Leadership Team Director, and Dr. David Ford, Accreditation Leadership Team Editor. Archbishop Michael, Rector and Steering Committee Chair also shared reflections. Thanks be to God for the wonderful review outcome, and for this opportunity to celebrate together!
Archbishop Michael was also recognized during the evening in celebrating the seventh anniversary of his elevation to the episcopate, with a cake during the dinner. May God grant our Seminary Rector many blessed years!
