The DCSC program provides a wide variety of faith-filled learning, fun and fellowship activities.
Daily church school lessons are given. The children are divided into classes by age. Additional lessons and interactive classes are incorporated into the schedule.
Learning about Ukrainian
Heritage is an interesting and fun component of the program. Ukrainian dance instruction is a staple class.
Additional special interest classes have
Been included: language,
embroidery, cooking, singing, and holiday celebrations.
The campers and staff devote one day each week to service. Each year the campers take on an All Saints Camp Beautification project and make their annual Love Packages for the elderly. Additional projects have included: creating icons for the orphanages in Ukraine, making cards for those in Nursing Homes, dipping candles for our mission parishes.
The schedule also includes:
Daily prayer services
Daily Sporting and Swimming Activities
Crafts
Singing Classes
Events – Bon Fires, Ukie Zabava, Mess Games, Sports Night, Themed Fun Night
Guest Speakers
Skit Night
Some highlights from 2016 included:
* Amazing Race!
* Lesser Blessing of Water and Camp blessing.
* 4th of July Celebration with an amazing fireworks display
* Visit from His Grace Bishop Daniel
* A Night in Italy dinner/dance!
* Hoedown Campfire.
* Special Interest Classes: Cooking, Nature, Crafts, and Photography!!!
