We are pleased to announce the schedule for the 2017 Ukrainian Orthodox Church Camping Season at All Saints Camp – “Champions of the Faith.  ”  Applications for campers and staff are now available.  The dates for our encampments are:  

St. Nicholas Program for Youth with Disabilities
     June 19 – 22
Diocesan Church School Camp
     June 25 – July 8  for children 9-13  
Liturgical Music Workshop
    July 7 -9 for Teenagers 13 -18
Teenage Conference
     July 9 – 25 for Teenagers 13-18  
Mommy & Me/Daddy & Me Camp  
        July 31 – August 4  for children ages 4-8 and their parent(s)  
Family Fest
      Labor Day Weekend for all ages  
Work Weekends – There are several volunteer works/weekends in late spring/early summer – check here for dates  

Please encourage your families to attend these amazing programs.   You will receive posters and flyers advertising the season to promote in the parish. We are VERY excited to be continuing our newest session, the St. Nicholas Program for youth with disabilities and the families.  This innovative program. Participants now have the option of the full four-day program or to attend for one day. Please inform your parishioners of this new opportunity to minister to the youth in our parishes living with a disability and their family. A flyer promoting the program is attached.

We also ask that you encourage your parishioners to  consider giving their time as camp staff. We are pleased to announce that we are offering paid positions for staff as well as accepting volunteers.There are many opportunities for full-summer, multi-week, single week, and weekend staff.  Applicants have many staff options such as cabin counselor, events coordinator, media coordinator, facility staff or medical staff.  We need talented, willing, Christ-centered individuals to fill our staffing positions.  More information  www.uocyouth.org/uoccpstaff.html
 
Scholarships – To aid our youth in attending camp, very generous individuals have established scholarship funds.Ten $100 scholarships are being provided by the Jr Ukrainian Orthodox League and Holy Trinity  Legacy Fund. The Metropolitan Constantine Memorial Scholarship will afford one individual one-full week paid at camp. The Wasyl Pysh Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to one individual who has never attended our programs for one-full week. Applications for the scholarship are available on-line.

New Workshop – We are please to announce our newest endeavor, the Liturgical Music Workshop for Teenagers.  More information on schedule and instructors will be made available in the coming months.
 
Do you have parishioners who aren’t quite sure if they want to send their child to camp? The OYM Office can supply a DVD presentation about the camp to share with your parishioners to encourage participation or you can arrange for an in person presentation by camp staff.  These DVD’s were also sent home with the SOBOR participants.
