Dr. Christopher Invited as Main Speaker for Parish Anniversary

Dr. Christopher Veniamin, Professor of Patristics at St. Tikhon’s Seminary, was invited to be the guest speaker at the 20^th anniversary of St. Peter The Apostle Antiochian Orthodox Church, in Pomona, CA.   The celebration lasted through the weekend of January 13-15^th, and featured three presentations by Dr. Veniamin, and services led by His Eminence, Joseph, Metropolitan of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.

Dr. Christopher’s three addresses were entitled: Metanoia: Repentance in the Orthodox Church, Hesychia: Preparation for Encounter with God, and Theosis: The Writings of St. Silouan the Athonite and Archimandrite Sophrony.
