Today, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America visited the School of Byzantine Music, one of the Ministry Tracks featured at the 48th Biennial Clergy-Laity Congress in Cleveland.
Reflecting on the visit, His Eminence remarked: “The Liturgical Arts are one of the great attractions that bring people to the ‘knowledge of the truth’ of our Holy Faith. May God continue to bless this ministry with His every grace and benediction, so that the worship of the Church may be enhanced and beautified, and we may draw more and more souls to the very Archetype of Beauty, our Lord Jesus Christ.”
The School of Byzantine Music (SBM) is an official ministry of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, dedicated to educating and mentoring cantors in the Psaltic Art.
