During his visit to Chicago for the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation Weekend, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America visited Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Elmhurst, Illinois for its annual Greek Festival.

Welcomed by parish priest Fr. Stamati Sfikas, parish leadership, and festival organizers, His Eminence toured the festival grounds, greeting volunteers and expressing his gratitude for their dedication and hard work in supporting the parish and its ministries. He also spent time with members of the community, sharing fellowship and enjoying a meal together.

Accompanying the Archbishop were Archimandrite Nephon Tsimalis, Fr. Evagoras Constantinides, Deacon Ieremias Mandoras, and Archon National Treasurer John Manos.
