The Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting offers two $1000 scholarships each year to graduating seniors in high school who are going on to college or university for a four-year degree. All applicants must be active members of their scouting program (Scouting America, Girl Scouts of the USA, Camp Fire, Trail Life, American Heritage) who have received the highest award of that program, such as Eagle Scout or Gold Award. In addition, they must have completed their Alpha Omega Religious Award of the EOCS. Successful applicants demonstrate their love of God and their Orthodox Faith in their churches, schools, scouting programs, and communities.
Applications are due March 15 and can be found here.
