With the blessing and loving support of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, His Eminence Metropolitan Neofitos of Eldoret and Northern Kenya visited the Archdiocese District in November 2025 to share the mission of the Church in Kenya and inspire support for its work.

During his visit to numerous parishes, he raised $70,000 to advance pastoral and educational initiatives that serve communities across Northern Kenya.

$50,000 of these funds will go toward building the Saint Nicholas School Hall, providing students with a safe and clean space to eat and gather, while fifteen motorbikes were donated to help clergy travel safely from village to village, bringing the Gospel, celebrating the Holy Mysteries, and caring for the faithful in remote areas.

Reflecting on the visit, Archbishop Elpidophoros said, “I am deeply grateful for the dedication of our faithful in supporting the sacred work of His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and all Africa. This mission in Northern Kenya, guided by Metropolitan Neofitos, exemplifies the living love of Christ through pastoral care, education, and the spreading of the Gospel.”

These gifts reflect a faith lived in action, extending Christ’s love beyond our parish walls and strengthening the Church’s mission in Kenya bearing spiritual fruit for generations to come.
