On the weekend of Oct 4-5, 2025, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America convened a Monastic Synaxis at Holy Archangels Greek Orthodox Monastery in Kentalia, TX. The Synaxis gathered together monks and nuns for a weekend of prayer, discussion and fellowship.
The Monastery, founded in 1996 in the Metropolis of Denver, provides hospitality, prayers and is a place for men to devote their lives to Christ. The monastery resides in Kendalia, north of San Antonio and west of Austin, located in the heart of Texas.
