The Office of Pastoral Life (OPL) is thrilled to announce that the Fall 2023 National Clergy Retreat has reached a significant milestone with over 100 participants already registered for the event!  The Retreat has capacity for more registrations in the coming weeks.  Time is of the essence as the final deadline for registration is Friday, September 15, 2023.  This retreat will provide space for shared meals, morning and evening prayer, and engaging education sessions for all priests and bishops of the Orthodox Church in America.  Participants will also have the opportunity to explore Chicago during a free afternoon, as well as participate in a Hierarchical Liturgy at the historic Holy Trinity Cathedral in Chicago.

The National Clergy Retreat will take place from Tuesday, October 17, to Friday, October 20, 2023, at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake Conference Center in Mundelein, Illinois.

The featured retreat speaker will be The V. Rev. Archimandrite Dr. Maximos Constas, who will speak on “The Prayer of the Heart”.

His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon and the Holy Synod of Bishops encourage all priests to participate and their parishes to financially support their participation. Watch a short video below of Metropolitan Tikhon speaking about the upcoming retreat.
