L’Île-Bizard, Quebec, Canada – With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel, on September 26, 2026, the feast of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian, His Grace Bishop Andrei of Cleveland visited the faithful of Protection of the Mother of God Parish in L’Île-Bizard, Quebec, Canada, where he officiated the Holy and Divine Liturgy.

The visit marked the parish’s 15th anniversary and the celebration of its patronal feast, the Protection of the Mother of God, observed on October 1. Assisting His Grace were the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Ioan Felicean Zinca, and Very Rev. Fr. Ioan Cotrigasanu of St. Elias Romanian Orthodox Church in Anjou, Montreal, Quebec.

Following the Holy and Divine Liturgy, an agape meal was offered by the parish community, giving the faithful an opportunity to spend time with His Grace, receive his blessing, and enjoy fellowship together.

Preasfințitul Părinte Andrei de Cleveland s-a aflat în mijlocul credincioșilor Parohiei „Acoperământul Maicii Domnului” din L’Île-Bizard

L’Île-Bizard, Quebec, Canada — Cu binecuvântarea Înaltpreasfințitului Părinte Arhiepiscop Nathaniel, la 26 septembrie 2026, ziua de pomenire a Sfântului Apostol și Evanghelist Ioan Teologul, Preasfințitul Părinte Andrei de Cleveland a vizitat Parohia „Acoperământul Maicii Domnului”, unde a oficiat Sfânta și Dumnezeiasca Liturghie.

Cu acest prilej, comunitatea a sărbătorit împlinirea a 15 ani de la înființarea parohiei, precum și hramul acesteia, Acoperământul Maicii Domnului, prăznuit la 1 octombrie. Alături de Preasfinția Sa au slujit preotul paroh, PC. Pr. Ioan Felicean Zinca, și PC. Pr. Ioan Cotrigășanu de la Parohia „Sfântul Ilie” din Anjou, Montréal, Quebec.

După Sfânta și Dumnezeiasca Liturghie, comunitatea parohială a oferit o agapă frățească, în cadrul căreia credincioșii au avut prilejul să petreacă timp alături de Preasfințitul Părinte Andrei, să primească binecuvântarea sa.
