The PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation is proud to welcome over 800 guests to Chicago this weekend as we recognize 57 exceptional scholarship recipients of Hellenic descent and award over $250,000 in scholarships.
The Foundation kicked off its 2026 Awards Ceremony & Gala Weekend on June 19, 2026, with a Welcome Reception hosted at Holland & Knight. The evening was graciously sponsored by Elias N. Matsakis, Esq., the Foundation’s pro bono legal counsel.
The Welcome Reception provided an opportunity for scholarship recipients, alumni, members of the Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and Academic Committee to connect ahead of the weekend’s events.

“We had the distinct honor of welcoming His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America to the reception. In his remarks to the full gathering,” the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation said in a press release. “His Eminence warmly congratulated our outstanding scholarship recipients and praised the Foundation for its continued commitment to advancing Hellenism and education in the United States.”
His Eminence also spent meaningful time meeting and speaking with the scholarship recipients, and shared special remarks with them in a private setting.
