The final dinner of the pilgrimage and educational tour of Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, alongside the graduating class of the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Boston, took place at Mount Athos.

The group’s visit to the monastic state began on Monday and concludes tomorrow at noon.

Held immediately after Vespers, the dinner took place in the refectory of the Holy Patriarchal and Stavropegial Monastery of Philotheou.

For the graduating students, it was a profoundly spiritual experience, introducing them to the facets traditional monastic life.

Tomorrow, the Archbishop will travel to Thessaloniki. On Saturday, he will visit the Holy Hesychasterion of St. John the Forerunner in Akritochori, Serres, to attend the memorial service of the late Metropolitan Gennadios of Sassima.
