Approved by the Archdiocese’s Office of the Chancellor, the following ordinations are scheduled to take place over the weekend of January 17–18 at Saint Anthony’s Monastery in Arizona. The ordinations will be celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco.

  • Ordination to the Diaconate of the Most Reverend Monk Fr. Theokletos (secular name Serafeim Hilaneh), son of George, brother of the Holy Monastery of Saint Anthony, Arizona
  • Ordination to the Priesthood of the Very Reverend Hierodeacon Fr. Epifanios (secular name Antonios Hilaneh), son of George, brother of the Holy Monastery of Saint Anthony, Arizona
  • Ordination to the Priesthood of the Very Reverend Hierodeacon Fr. Markos (secular name Lambros Anastasopoulos), son of Evangelos, brother of the Holy Monastery of Saint Anthony, Arizona
  • Approved is the ordination to the Diaconate of Mr. Jack McAfee, son of John, originating from the Holy Metropolis of San Francisco, as well as his appointment to Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Beaverton, Oregon
  • Approved is the ordination to the Diaconate of Mr. Stavronikitas Damianakis, son of Ilias, originating from the Holy Metropolis of Detroit, as well as his appointment to the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Carmel, Indiana
  • Approved is the secondment of the Reverend Protopresbyter Fr. Theodoros Boskinis, originating from the Holy Metropolis of Ilia of the Church of Greece, by way of secondment to our Holy Archdiocese, for pastoral service in the Holy Metropolis of Chicago
