Archbishop Elpidophoros of America welcomed Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis and Greece’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Aglaia (Agi) Balta, to the headquarters of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America in New York.

Minister Georgiadis is visiting New York for meetings with leading medical institutions, focusing on healthcare cooperation and medical innovation. Ambassador Balta has recently assumed her post at the United Nations, at a time when Greece is serving as a non-permanent member of the U.N. Security Council.

His Eminence extended warm Christmas wishes to both officials, expressing hope for health, peace, and success in their public service.
