Yesterday, students from A. Fantis School in Brooklyn, New York performed their annual Christmas concert at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America attended the concert, and offered remarks to the children and their families.

“Today, my dear friends, our μικροί – our ‘little ones’ are in league with the Host of Heaven, and are manifesting to us the Celestial Choir that sings the praises the Good News of God,” His Eminence said. “They are inviting us to see in their sweet and innocent faces, the reflection of the Face of God, just as their Heavenly counterparts behold the Holy Countenance of the Father.”

“Therefore, let us bask in the glow of this evening, with gratitude for the blessings of our precious children. Let us give thanks for the health of our families, and the safety of all loved ones. And let us praise the God of Heaven and Earth Who willed to become a little child for our sake, in the little town of Bethlehem, so long ago.”
