NEW YORK — On December 7, 2025, the Rebrain Greece initiative will arrive in the city with a mission to connect leading Greek companies with professionals from the Greek diaspora.

The event, organized by Greece’s Ministry of Labor and Social Security, will feature 35 companies from key industries including technology, shipping, energy, finance, and healthcare. Its goal is to foster new employment opportunities in Greece and encourage the return of skilled Greeks currently living abroad.

Ahead of the event, Minister of Labor Niki Kerameus met in Athens with representatives of the participating companies, describing Rebrain Greece as “a shared and national goal.” She emphasized the country’s recent progress in reducing unemployment and the growing need to attract specialized professionals back to Greece.

Kerameus also took to Instagram to invite members of the Greek community in North America to attend the event — whether they are ready to return or simply curious about opportunities in Greece.

“Living in the U.S. or Canada? Maybe it’s time to take the next step,” she wrote. “Greece is waiting for you with exciting professional opportunities in every sector. On December 7, Rebrain Greece comes to New York!”
