On Saturday, May 13, 2023, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon attended the enthronement of His Eminence Metropolitan Saba as the new metropolitan of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America. After the Enthronement Service, His Beatitude greeted His Eminence on behalf of the Holy Synod, clergy, and laity of the Orthodox Church in America. His Beatitude mentioned the close relationship between the OCA and the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese and asked for God’s continued blessing on His Eminence’s ministry. His Beatitude presented His Eminence with an icon of Saint Herman of Alaska as a gift on the occasion of his enthronement.
