We have gathered to commemorate the First Divine Liturgy – the Mystical Supper – when the Lord Jesus gave us the commandment that established the worship of the Church. He said the following:
Τοῦτο ποιεῖτε εἰς τὴν ἐμὴν ἀνάμνησιν.
