Westfield, New Jersey – On the weekend of February 4 – 5, 2023 His Grace Bishop Apostolos of Medeia, with the blessings and permission of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, elevated the Rev. Father John Manuel, the Proistamenos of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Virginia Beach, VA, and the Rev. Father John Katsoulis, the Proistamenos of the Nativity of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church in Fredericksburg, VA to the rank of Protopresbyter.
