Community-Minded Leadership: Dare Great Things
The pandemic is almost over; parishioners are coming back to Church. But will it be “business as usual” for your parish? Or will you use this “coming back” as a springboard to new and wonderful things for your community?
Protodeacon Peter Danilchick, a student and frequent invited speaker on Christian Leadership , will hold two classes in our Clergy Continuing Education program on June 17 and July 15 (Third Thursdays). He will challenge us to “dare and do great things” with full faith in our Lord’s words: “The things that I do you shall do – and greater things than these shall you do” (John 14:12).
Protodeacon Peter will lead us through the basics of Christian leadership and the why, what, and how of parish strategic planning in which we seek, in community, to discover and fulfill God’s will for our parishes and the people they serve.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and to be inspired. Protodeacon Peter will provide advance reading for each session. You will also be able to review and discuss other parishes’ strategic plans to get a better feeling for how your parishioners might come together in a new spirit of collaboration and shared ministry.
Your parish may be doing good things. But isn’t it time to once again hear the Lord’s words “Behold I make all things new” (Rev 21:5) and dare great things?
“The time is now.” (2 Cor 6:2)
