FOCUS North America’s Youth Equipped to Serve Program [YES] will host its second annual Servant Leadership Conference in Detroit, MI May 24 through 27, 2019—Memorial Day weekend.
Since 2012, YES has conducted various leadership training programs to equip YES trip leaders. The 2019 Servant Leadership Conference, however, will offer students an opportunity for personal exploration, foundational servant leadership development, and empowerment. The program will bring together high school seniors and college students to seek the Lord, to see their true selves and purposes together, and to feel strengthened and courageous to live the lives they have been uniquely called to live.
FOCUS North America — the “Fellowship of Orthodox Christians United to Serve” — is a national movement of Orthodox Christians united in faith and joined by a desire to provide action-oriented and sustainable solutions to poverty in communities across America.
