JOHNSTOWN, PA [Diocesan Chancery] — The assault of Hurricane Florence on the Carolinas has begun. Thankfully, it appears that our mission parishes in Candler (Asheville) and Murphy, NC are not under evacuation orders at the present time. His Grace Bishop Gregory has asked that the faithful of the Diocese keep the members of our parish communities in North Carolina and the millions of others in the path of the hurricane in constant thought and prayer over this weekend.
