Archbishop Michael, STOTS Rector, is greeted with traditional bread and salt as he arrives at 2017’s “Hospitality a la Russe.”

The Board of Trustees of the Century Association of Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, South Canaan, PA will hold its annual festival—“Hospitality a la Russe IX”—at Saint Michael’s Center, Jermyn, PA on Sunday, May 6, 2018.

The event will feature traditional Russian and Slavic dishes and selections offered by the renowned Kauriga Balalaika Orchestra.  Further details are available online.

Doors will open at 2:30 p.m., followed by appetizers, dinner and dessert at 3:30 p.m.  Musical selections will begin at 6:00 p.m.  The ever-popular theme basket raffle will follow at 7:00 p.m.  Bid-at-home forms are available online for those who would like to participate in the raffle but unable to attend.

“Hospitality a la Russe IX” will feature a wonderful selection of delicacies, including zakuski (appetizers), potato pancakes, pierogi, beet salad, eggplant caviar, kielbasa, Russian meatballs, marinated mushrooms, a main entree of homemade cabbage rolls, chicken Marsala, eggplant Parmesan, mashed potatoes, pasta, vegetables and dessert.

All proceeds will benefit Saint Tikhon’s Seminary.
