Alumni and friends of Saint Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary [SVOTS] are invited to join members of the seminary community for the celebration of the Patronal Feast of Saint Vladimir on Saturday, July 15, 2017.
The day will open with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy in Three Hierarchs Chapel at 9:00 a.m. After fellowship hour, Archpriest Alexander Rentel, Director of the Master of Divinity Program, Assistant Professor of Canon Law and Byzantine Studies, and the John and Paraskeva Skvir Lecturer in Practical Theology, will offer a brief talk. Attendees will then enjoy a scrumptious barbeque. The day will conclude with the celebration of the Akathistos Hymn in honor of Saint Vladimir and the veneration of his relics.
